River of Light

River of Light

Jen, Erik, Grace and I went to Alki beach (Seattle) to say hello to Grandmother Ocean and watch the sun go down behind the horizon. There wasn't enough light for my cheap little camera to do much, especially since I was holding it in my hand. Still, I like the abstract quality of some of the photos I shot that evening. Like this one, the light makes my heart so full. I take it in. I take it in.

ahh, E. I'm so happy to "see" you around. I haven't been very good lately about leaving breadcrumbs on flickr or blogs. I'm trying to dig myself out of the mountain of work that piled up while I was gone. You must be in Montana now. It's so so beautiful right now. I'm loving the warm days and even the nights still warmish. Golden light, clear air, turning trees. thanks for telling me you were here, my friend. when you have a chance, would you write me and tell me how you're doing, what you're up to (besides photos! heheh) in Montana? loving it i'm sure.
xoxo
