I adore the atmosphere of this photograph!
It makes return the memories of my childhood when I went in winter to the mountain in my large parents…

J'adore l'atmosphère de cette photo !
Elle fait revenir les souvenirs de mon enfance quand j'allais en hiver à la montagne chez mes grands parents ...

Very moody picture, you can feel the chill and damp before the storm.

Tara, Jean and pam, thank you so much for your compliments on this and my other recent photos. I am almost back to normal and will hopefully be writing my blog regularly again -- soon!

Tara, I loved your "wing and a prayer" poem this week. You are always so outspoken about your political views -- I admire that.

Jean, thank you for translating your comment from French to English. I smiled when I read, "my large parents ..."

Pam, it really was cold that day -- and blowing hard. We had winds up to 55mph. I got some raindrops on my lens and finally had to pack it up and go home. :(

I love these rich muted colors, and with the stream leading me right into that storm, I can just feel that cold mist approaching! Beautiful shot!
