Your art has completely captured my imagination. I've been studying your self portrait and although I don't understand how you did it, it's captivating.

I'm glad you're both here off and on. More on that off. And myself I'm more off than on lately. Hmmmm...

Pam, I might just have to make a regular feature on my blog of showing the original raw materials for my collages - that might help you figure out what I'm doing ... [grinning]

Tammy, keep checking for my announcement of the completed photo essay about the race and the sled dogs. I think you'll like it. Am working on it this weekend and hope to publish it next week.

You just amaze me with your photo skills. I'm all for the how-tos.

I have to admit that I'm more off than on--just a really busy time of year. Aack!

That is one of the most interesting self-portraits I have seen. I love the layers of colors and textures in your work. I would love to read how you work your collage magic.

What skill! - you draw me into your collages - there are so many things - I can't take it all in - each time I look I find something new...

thanks to everyone for all your kind comments ... I can see I will at least occasionally have to make a show and tell about how I got my results. Unfortunately for this one, I can't because the original images I used to make this collage were on my computer that died last fall, taking with it almost all of my photos. (I did have a bunch archived on flickr, but other than those, they're all gone)

I will try to make a page with the materials I used in my post, Ancestor as soon as I have time to do that. I will post the link to the how-to on that Ancestor post. Hope this makes sense. If it doesn't, just check back in a couple of days.

Endment -- it is SO good to hear from you. I haven't been reading many blogs lately, so have missed you. thanks for stopping by. How the heck are you?

Stay warm!
